Account Setup

This guide walks you through creating your TruthVouch account, inviting your team, selecting your subscription, and completing initial onboarding.

Step 1: Sign Up

  1. Go to app.truthvouch.ai
  2. Click Get Started or Sign Up
  3. Enter:
    • Your email (work email recommended)
    • Password (at least 12 characters, one uppercase, one number, one special character)
    • Full name
  4. Accept the terms of service and privacy policy
  5. Click Create Account

You’ll receive a verification email. Click the link in the email to confirm your address.

Step 2: Create Your Organization

After email verification, you’ll be asked to create an organization profile.

  1. Enter your Organization Name (e.g., “Acme Corporation”)
  2. Select your Industry (SaaS, Healthcare, FinTech, Manufacturing, etc.)
  3. Choose your Organization Size:
    • 1-50 employees (Startup)
    • 51-500 employees (Scale-up)
    • 501-5,000 employees (Mid-market)
    • 5,000+ employees (Enterprise)
  4. Enter your Website (domain where you can be verified)
  5. Select your Region (US, EU, APAC, other)

This information is used for:

  • Multi-tenant isolation (your data stays separate from other organizations)
  • Feature eligibility (GDPR compliance features enabled for EU organizations)
  • Regulatory auto-detection (EU organizations get EU AI Act enabled by default)

Step 3: Select Your Subscription Tier

Choose which products and features your organization needs.

Available Tiers:

Starter — $349/month

For teams starting their AI trust journey.

  • Hallucination Shield — Monitor up to 2 LLMs, 50 cross-checks/month
  • AI Advisor — Free assessment access
  • Knowledge Base — Up to 200 Truth Nuggets
  • Trust API — 1,000 API calls/month
  • Support: Email (48h SLA)

Professional — $1,199/month (Recommended)

For organizations scaling AI across teams.

  • Everything in Starter +
  • Compliance AI — 5 frameworks, auto-discovery
  • Brand Intelligence — Monitor 3+ AI engines
  • Trust API — 10,000 API calls/month
  • VT Sentinel Agent — Optional add-on ($12/seat/month)
  • Support: Priority email (24h SLA)

Business — $2,499/month

For companies with active AI governance needs.

  • Everything in Professional +
  • AI Governance — Governance Firewall SDK + Policy engine

Annual billing discount: Pay annually and save ~15%. Example: Professional is $12,230/year (vs. $14,388 monthly).

  • Enterprise: $8/seat/month (included)
  • Governs employee AI tool usage with DLP and policy enforcement

TruthOps Agents (Business+)

  • Business: $0/month (semi-autonomous)
  • Enterprise: $0/month (fully autonomous)

Step 4: Confirm Billing

  1. Enter your billing email (can be different from login email)
  2. Add your payment method (credit card or invoice for annual Enterprise contracts)
  3. Set billing frequency (Monthly or Annual)
  4. Enter your billing address (for VAT/tax compliance)
  5. Review your invoice preview
  6. Click Confirm and Create Account

Your first month is charged immediately. Recurring charges happen on the same day each month (or annually, if selected).

Invoices are sent to your billing email automatically. You can download past invoices from Settings → Billing → Invoice History.

Step 5: Invite Your Team

Add team members so they can start using TruthVouch.

  1. From the dashboard, go to Settings → Team

  2. Click Invite Team Member

  3. Enter their email address

  4. Select their Role:

    • Admin: Can do everything (invite users, change billing, delete org)
    • Compliance Officer: Can run compliance scans, generate reports, access audit logs
    • Editor: Can manage Truth Nuggets, create policies, approve corrections
    • Analyst: Can view dashboards and reports (read-only)
    • Viewer: Can view dashboards only (limited read-only access)

  5. Click Send Invite

They’ll receive an email invitation. Once they click the link and create an account, they’re added to your organization.

Tip: You can bulk invite by uploading a CSV with email and role columns.

Step 6: Complete Onboarding Wizard

Now it’s time to set up your Truth Nuggets and activate monitoring. The onboarding wizard guides you through this in 15-30 minutes.

Overview Screen

You’ll see an overview of the onboarding process:

  1. Define your truth
  2. Choose products
  3. Configure monitoring
  4. Review and activate

Define Your Truth (15 minutes)

Create your initial Truth Nuggets about your organization.

Product Information

  • Product names and descriptions
  • Key features and differentiators
  • Pricing (if public)
  • Launch dates
  • Links to product pages

Company Information

  • Company name and website
  • Founding date and stage (Seed, Series A, etc.)
  • Leadership (CEO, founders, executives)
  • Headquarters location
  • Team size

Brand & Claims

  • Core brand messaging
  • Key achievements or awards
  • Partnerships and integrations
  • Certifications (SOC 2, ISO, etc.)
  • Industry awards or recognition

TruthVouch will auto-extract some facts from your website and LinkedIn. Review and refine these.

Choose Your Products (3 minutes)

Select which TruthVouch products you want to activate:

  • Shield: Monitor 9+ AI engines for hallucinations (starts automatically at Starter+)
  • Compliance AI: Audit against regulatory frameworks (Professional+)
  • Brand Intelligence: Monitor brand representation and run GEO audits (Professional+)
  • Governance: Deploy Firewall SDK and policies (Business+)
  • Certification: Issue trust badges for AI content (Business+)
  • Advisor: Run maturity assessments (included with Professional)
  • Trust API: Programmatic fact-checking (included with all tiers)

For each product, the wizard will show quick setup steps.

Configure Monitoring (5 minutes)

Set up which AI engines to monitor and how often.

Select Engines

  • Default: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude (big 4)
  • Optional: Bing, DuckDuckGo, Brave, You.com, Phind

Set Cross-Check Schedule

  • Critical facts (CEO, founding date, core product): Every 1 hour
  • Important facts (major features, pricing): Every 24 hours
  • Nice-to-know facts (secondary features): Weekly

Configure Alerts

  • Email: Your login email by default
  • Slack: Optional (requires Slack workspace connection)
  • Mobile alerts: Optional (requires downloading TruthVouch mobile app)

Review & Activate (2 minutes)

Review your setup and click Activate Monitoring. You’ll be taken to your dashboard where you can watch the first cross-checks run.

Within 24 hours, you’ll have your first results and Brand Trust Score.

Step 7: Configure Notification Preferences

Control how and when you’re notified about alerts and activity.

Go to Settings → Notifications to configure:

Channels

  • Email
  • Slack (if connected)
  • SMS (phone number required)
  • In-app bell icon
  • Webhooks (for integrations)

Alert Types

  • Critical alerts (hallucinations, policy violations, compliance gaps)
  • High alerts (inaccuracies, corrections needed)
  • Medium alerts (minor issues, recommendations)
  • Low alerts (FYI, informational)
  • Weekly digest (summary email)
  • Monthly report (comprehensive overview)

Quiet Hours (optional)

  • Set a time range when you don’t want notifications (e.g., 6 PM - 9 AM)
  • Weekend muting (no alerts on weekends)

Step 8: Connect Integrations (optional)

Expand TruthVouch’s capabilities by connecting to tools you already use.

Communication

  • Slack — Get alerts in Slack, create tasks from alerts
  • Microsoft Teams — Post alerts to Teams channels
  • PagerDuty — Escalate critical alerts to on-call engineers

Project Management

  • Jira — Auto-create tasks for compliance gaps and corrections
  • ServiceNow — Sync compliance data and incident reports
  • Linear — Create issues from alerts

Data & Analytics

  • Datadog — Pull infrastructure control evidence for compliance scans
  • Splunk — Send audit logs to Splunk for SIEM integration
  • AWS — Auto-discover AI systems and configurations
  • Azure — Auto-discover AI systems and configurations
  • GitHub — Pull code and configuration for compliance evidence

Webhooks (for custom integrations)

  • Send alerts to any HTTP endpoint
  • Useful for custom workflows or internal tools

To connect an integration:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations
  2. Click + Add Integration
  3. Select the tool and follow the authorization flow
  4. Configure which events trigger notifications

Most integrations are optional — you can use TruthVouch without any integrations enabled.

Step 9: Review Security & Compliance Settings

Ensure your account meets your security requirements.

Go to Settings → Security to:

Access Control

  • Single sign-on (SSO): Connect to Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace (Enterprise only)
  • IP whitelist: Restrict account access to specific IP ranges (Enterprise)
  • Session timeout: Set automatic logout duration (15 minutes to 8 hours)

Data Privacy

  • Data residency: Choose where your data is stored (US, EU, APAC)
  • Encryption: Verify all data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)
  • Audit logs: Review all user activity for compliance

Compliance

  • GDPR — If enabled, activates data retention policies and deletion workflows
  • HIPAA — If enabled, activates encryption and audit requirements
  • SOC 2 — If enabled, shows compliance status and evidence links

These settings sync with your organization profile from Step 2.

Step 10: Download Mobile App (optional)

For iOS and Android, you can get notifications and dashboard access on your phone.

  1. Search “TruthVouch” in Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  2. Install the app
  3. Log in with your account credentials
  4. Enable notifications for critical alerts

The mobile app is useful for:

  • Executives: Check Brand Trust Score and critical alerts while away
  • On-call engineers: Get real-time policy violation alerts
  • Compliance officers: Review and approve tasks on the go

Troubleshooting

Email verification not received?

  • Check spam/promotions folder
  • Click Resend verification email on the verification page
  • Allow 2-3 minutes for delivery

Payment declined?

  • Ensure card details are correct (name, expiration, CVC)
  • Check if your bank flagged the international charge
  • Try a different payment method or contact billing support

Can’t find onboarding wizard?

  • Go to dashboard, click Help → Onboarding in the bottom-left
  • Or visit Settings → Onboarding to restart

Invitation email not received?

  • Check spam folder
  • Ask the user to log in to the organization directly if they have an account
  • Resend the invitation from Settings → Team
