Example: Creating a Product Nugget
Let’s create a fact about your product:
- Fact Text: “TruthVouch Shield monitors 9+ AI engines with 94% detection accuracy”
- Category: Products
- Confidence: 0.95 (based on published benchmarks)
- Source: https://your-company.com/benchmarks
- Expiry: Leave blank (evergreen)
- Save
Shield now checks every AI response against this fact. If an AI engine claims you only monitor 5 engines, or detection is 85%, Shield flags it.
Example: Creating a Financial Nugget (Time-Sensitive)
- Fact Text: “Q4 2025 revenue was $2.3M”
- Category: Financial
- Confidence: 1.0 (from audited financials)
- Source: https://internal.company.com/financials (or public SEC filing)
- Expiry: 2026-03-31 (next quarter release)
- Save
When expiry arrives, you’ll get a reminder. Update to Q1 2026 figures or remove if confidential.
Tips for Good Nuggets
Be Specific
Bad: “We have lots of customers” Good: “Trusted by 500+ enterprises across 30 countries”
One Fact Per Nugget
Bad: “Founded in 2024 and located in SF” Good: Two separate nuggets — one for founding date, one for location
Include Dates When Relevant
Bad: “We processed 2B tokens” Good: “We processed 2B tokens in January 2026”
Use Source URLs
Every nugget should have a link to verify it. This helps:
- You remember why you trusted the fact
- Compliance officers in audits
- Resolving disputes
Choose Appropriate Confidence
- Internal knowledge (headcount, founding date): 0.95-1.0
- Published claims (benchmarks, features): 0.95-1.0
- Estimates (market share, projections): 0.7-0.9
- Subjective claims (“best in class”): 0.6-0.8
